January 1, 2006 – Mark A. Crawford, CPA, Managing Director of Doeren Mayhew, known internationally as Moore Stephens Doeren Mayhew, has announced that Moore Stephens North America, Inc. and The Global Alliance have merged to create one of the largest U.S. CPA firm associations, with 35 firms and revenues of over $600 million.
The association will continue to be known as Moore Stephens North America (MSNA) which is a more established name in the accounting industry, and the new organization will still be part of Moore Stephens International Limited (MSIL). Doeren Mayhew has been a member of Moore Stephens since 1980. The worldwide MSIL network, based in London, consists of over 330 leading independent accounting and consulting firms with more than 500 offices, in over 90 countries with total worldwide revenues of almost $1.4 billion.
